Who We Help from Hoppers Crossing

We see a wide range of patients who make the short trip from Hoppers Crossing to our Altona Meadows practice. Many work in local industries — logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, and trades — and come to us with the kinds of physical demands those jobs place on the body: lower back pain from heavy lifting, neck pain from driving, and repetitive strain injuries from manual work. We also see a lot of Hoppers Crossing families — parents bringing children in for postural assessments, and pregnant mothers who’ve been referred by their GPs for pregnancy chiropractic care. If this sounds like you, we’re ready to help.

Services available to our Hoppers Crossing clients

Chiropractic care

Our principal chiropractor Dr. Alfie Dimalanta has been helping patients from Melbourne’s western suburbs — including many long-term patients from Hoppers Crossing — since 2004. Whether you’re dealing with a sudden injury or years of chronic back pain, we offer both high-velocity (the traditional “cracking”) and low-force adjustments, so you’re always in control of your care.

Remedial massage therapy

Remedial massage complements chiropractic care and works especially well for patients who carry tension from physical or desk-based work. Many of our Hoppers Crossing patients combine a massage appointment with their chiropractic visit in the same session.

Infrared sauna

Our infrared sauna is available to book as a standalone session or to add on after your chiropractic adjustment. It’s particularly popular with patients who work physically demanding jobs and want to support muscle recovery and reduce inflammation between visits.

Common Conditions We Treat in Patients from Hoppers Crossing

Our chiropractors assess and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal and nervous system conditions. The following are among the most common presentations we see in patients travelling from Hoppers Crossing:

  • Low back pain — including disc injuries, sciatica, and lumber spine conditions
  • Neck pain — including stiffness, reduced range of motion, and referred pain into the arms
  • Headaches — including tension headaches and cervicogenic headaches originating from the neck
  • Sciatica — shooting or burning pain travelling down the leg from the lower back
  • Shoulder pain — including rotator cuff problems, frozen shoulder, and shoulder impingement
  • Pregnancy chiropractic — gentle, safe care for expectant mothers at all stages of pregnancy
  • Whiplash and motor vehicle injuries — assessment and management of injuries sustained in road accidents
  • Work-related repetitive strain injuries — conditions caused by repetitive occupational movements
  • Postural problems — forward head posture, rounded shoulders, and upper crossed syndrome from desk work
  • Scoliosis — assessment and management of spinal curvature conditions

If you have a condition you don’t see listed here, call us on (03) 9315 8888 and we’ll let you know whether chiropractic is likely to help. If chiropractic isn’t the right fit for your situation, we’ll tell you that too and point you in the right direction.
